Workbased Learning

Workbased LearningWork-Based Learning programmes enable individuals to fit learning around work.

The learning is based on the needs of the individual's employment, and is a great way to gain nationally recognised qualifications.

Unlike other similar programmes that require students to be away off site during working hours, our higher education programmes are delivered within the workplace which addresses specific competences identified for the qualification.

A QCF (Qualification & Credit Framework) offers a way of recognising skills and achievement by awarding credit for qualifications and units. QCF enables people to gain qualifications at their own pace along flexible routes.

Designed to develop the skills and knowledge to do the job effectively a QCF is a competence based qualification gained at the workplace. It is a great way to improve your CV and help you progress with your career.
