Introduction
The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is designed for individuals who are already working in a school support role with greater independence and responsibility. It is suitable for those aiming to progress into advanced positions such as higher-level teaching assistants or specialist learning support roles.
This apprenticeship builds on the foundations of Level 2 and equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to make a greater contribution to teaching and learning. Learners will gain confidence in planning and delivering activities, supporting assessment for learning, and promoting inclusion and safeguarding practices.
